Metro Library Donates Space!
The Metropolitan Library System has teamed up with Oklahoma Young Writers to offer our weekly writing workshop at no charge to OKYW. The library will also begin promoting the workshop in the library magazine, Info. After a short break for the holidays, OKYW will resume their weekly workshop, now called Write On! on January 9. Moving to the Downtown Library
For the last few months the Scissortail Social Space has been kind enough to let us use their space for our workshops for free. The Space is currently without air conditioning and it has been crazy Oklahoma June hot! We will be moving our workshop to the Downtown Public Library on Park Ave. This Sunday, come out and join us from 3-5pm. Bring any new poems or ideas. Other forms of writing welcome...

We meet every 3rd Sunday of the month at the Scossortail Social Space. 3012 N. Walker Ave Oklahoma City, OK. 3-5pm.  Bring 1 or 2 poems to workshop and a couple to slam. We would like to develop a solid group of poets that could potentially represent OKC in the Brave New Voices competition next year.
