OYWC is a non-profit organization that provides literary support and opportunities to Oklahoma's youth. Support includes group performances, contests, and workshops in poetry and fiction, as well as screenwriting and songwriting.

We host a workshop every Sunday, 3-5pm, at the Downtown Library {300 Park Ave. OKC, OK 73102} Bring 2 poems. Or no poems. Bring you.

3rd Sunday!

We meet every 3rd Sunday of the month at the Scossortail Social Space. 3012 N. Walker Ave Oklahoma City, OK. 3-5pm. Bring 1 or 2 poems to workshop and a couple to slam.

We would like to develop a solid group of poets that could potentially represent OKC in the Brave New Voices competition next year.
